Sign Up If you haven't done so already, sign up for an account on EmilyStrange.com. After signing in to your account, create your S.O.S. profile to gain access to the Society of Strange. You can choose to share your email address and/or your city and state. You can also post as much, or as little, info about your strange self for other members to see.

If you have not received the e-mail with your password yet, there are two possible reasons. The first is that you entered your e-mail address incorrectly. If this is the case, please sign up again and be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly. If your e-mail address was correct, then you need to adjust your e-mail settings to accept e-mails from us. Check your junk or trash folder for our e-mail.

Edit Profile Keep everyone up-to-date. Here you can make as many changes you want.

Forum Categories This is the guts of the forum. Once signed in, you can create new topics or reply to someone else's topic. You can also edit your post if you need to. On this main forum page you can see which S.O.S. user created the topic, how many posts it has and when the last post what made, and by whom. Click on the member name or icon to see their profile.

My Favorite Topics Everytime you create a new topic or reply to a post, that intial topic will be automatically added to your own My Favorite Topics page for easy reference which topics you are apart of. You may remove from this list a topic you have posted to.

Strange Messages You can leave your friends personal messages on their profiles. They'll see that they have a message from you when they next log in! Remember, everyone can see what you wrote, so you might not want to reveal your secrets! That's what email, IM, etc. are for!

Meet the Mods 1. Moderators are the Emily-empowered cool cats who linger in the forum keeping an eye on things. Things like mean insults, persistent cussing, forum abuse, (to name a few) are not welcomed here. This is a community where new and old individual Emily fans can meet and converse in a positive way. Freedom of expression is a golden right, but if you read the Terms of Use you already agreed to when signing up, you will know you blew it in some way when one of the moderators deletes your post(s) or with repeat offenders, even deletes your access to this forum. Mods can also help you if you need to delete a post for some reason (said something stupid lately?)

2. Please do not insult moderators. That will get you nowhere other than looking like a fool on the same page as mature members. We like to think of moderators as other kitty friends very close to Mystery, Miles, NeeChee and Sababth. Moderators lurk in the shadows, they protect other cats from a distance, and they are welcome to snuggle around a fire with all Emily's cats on a cold night. But if they are attacked, they will scratch back AND cut deep! (...Hmmm, we could make a really good comic out of that.)    Be cool. End of story.

Terms of Use You may read them again here if you wish.

Feedback We encourage all feedback, negative and postive. Several of the EmilyStrange.com crew receive each feedback you submit. We will try to answer all we can but more importanty we do read them and act on any errors or problems you've alerted us to.

Log Out Means 'Cya next time.' If you share a computer, it is strongly recommend you log out after each S.O.S. session. Who wants their kid brother getting back into the forum under YOUR member name?!
